Care Credit, which can be applied for and approved while you check out, is the leader in healthcare service payment plans and is the Belpre Dental Studio option for patients seeking a payment plan.

Patients that want to make installment payments can also do so in advance of treatment with the final installment due on the day of service.

Payment in full is due at the time of service. Eligible patients may pay later to their selected Care Credit repayment schedule.

BDS is the Best Choice for Patients with No Insurance

Patients that have declined dental insurance or do not have that option will appreciate that they do not have to subsidize the cost of treatment for those that have insurance. Insurance carriers require substantial discounts for their members, causing uninsured patients to be charged more by default at in-network offices. Our pricing policy treats all patients fairly.

Likewise, we require payment in full at the time of treatment so conscientious patients do not have to cover the cost of bad debts unpaid by patients who do not keep their commitments.

Our in-house dental membership plans offer access to quality, affordable dental care without the hassles of dental insurance. Dental memberships allow our patients to take control of their oral health. Our plans are great for those employed without dental benefits, retired seniors, small business owners and their employees, families, and those frustrated with the gimmicks of traditional dental insurance. Dental Insurance Policy

BDS is not in-network with any Dental Insurance Plans because we want our treatment plans to represent what is best for our patients rather than what is “covered” or “allowed”. Being ‘in network’ requires the dentist to forfeit some of his/her professional judgment on the recommended treatment.

Additionally, insurance plans often preclude patients from bundling treatments as a cost-control measure. Bundling treatments is very advantageous to patients because you only have to:

Request to be off work/school once
Drive to the dental office & check-in once
Be numbed once
Recover from treatment once

We submit claims to ALL private dental insurance plans on your behalf as a courtesy to our patients. We make every effort to ascertain what will be covered under your plan prior to treatment.

We only accept the assignment of benefits for insurance plans that provide accurate coverage estimates and timely payment. For plans that are difficult to work with, we prepare submissions for our patients to be reimbursed while requiring payment at the time of service.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Belpre Dental Studio supports the use of flexible spending accounts by accepting debit cards or checks tied to accounts or by providing you with the documentation required to file for reimbursement.

Minors & Guardians

The parent or guardian that brings the child to his/her appointment is responsible for payment in full on the day of service. Our practice is NOT able to bill other parties that have been court-ordered to cover dental expenses for the child.

Cancellation Policy

Kindly provide at least one week notice for any appointment that needs to be rescheduled. Appointments canceled or rescheduled less than one week in advance will be subject to a cancellation charge.

Payment Options That Fit Your Smile

Dental Insurance is different from Medical Insurance. An estimate of the amount covered by your insurance company will be provided at the time of your treatment, based on the information they provide to us. The estimate is never a guarantee of benefits or the amount that will be paid. We will file all insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. This does not, however, transfer the responsibility of your financial obligation to the insurance company. If the amount paid by the insurance company is less than or greater than the estimate, then you will be charged the difference or issued a credit on the account in the event of an overpayment.
